Inter Milan close in on Chelsea Emerson Palmieri

Reports in Italy claim Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri is reportedly closing in on a switch to Inter Milan.

The 25-year-old has struggled to nail down a regular spot under Frank Lampard and only featured in the FA Cup clash against Leicester – his first appearance since January.

The Italy international has been consistently linked with a move to the Serie A two years after leaving Roma, and Juventus – managed by Maurizio Sarri – were reportedly favourites to land the Brazil-born full-back.

But Il Mesaggero say Inter are ready to pay £25m to seal the signing as Antonio Conte lines up a raid on his former club.

Havertz pushes for Chelsea move

Kai Havertz is primed for a move to the Premier League, reports the Daily Star.

The reports says the Bayer Leverkusen and Germany winger is set to hand in a transfer request as he looks to make the move to Chelsea over the summer.

Hints on said Benrahma Chelsea deal

A friend of Brentford winger Said Benrahma has dropped a huge hint that the 24-year-old could be heading to Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Having amassed a terrific return of 15 goals and nine assists in the Championship this term, Benrahma is naturally being linked with a move to a top-flight club.

Chelsea have been touted as a potential destination for the Algeria international, and Benrahma’s friend and fellow professional footballer Fahd Moufi has recently added fuel to the fire on social media.

Commenting on Benrahma’s Instagram Live, Moufi – who plays as a defender for Portuguese side C.D Tondela, said: “Congratulations on Chelsea, my bro.”

Chelsea have already bolstered their attacking options with the signings of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, but Frank Lampard is supposedly keen to add more firepower to his frontline ahead of next season.

Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz is reportedly a priority target for the Blues, and a recent report suggested that the 21-year-old is keen to move to Stamford Bridge in order to link up with Germany teammates Antonio Rudiger and Werner.
