Chelsea select ultimate XI to face Arsenal Lukaku included
Yesterday, we came up with two lineups Thomas Tuchel could field against Arsenal.
One was a more experienced team with Thiago Silva in, Azpi at right centre-back and Lukaku starting.
Another was the XI that started the Palace game with Havertz replacing the self-isolating Pulisic.
And the majority of Tribuna.com’s want Lukaku and Silva to start.
Mikel Arteta hasn’t had the best start to life as the Arsenal manager but it seems that confidence is one area where the Spaniard doesn’t lack!
Discussing the Chelsea game in his press conference, Arteta told the media (via Arsenal FC): “I don’t know if he [Romelu Lukaku] is going to play.
“I have a plan to try to stop what Chelsea do and the plan on what we have to do to win the game.
“I respect what they’ve done in the last few years,” he added. They are a top team full of world-class players, with a great manager and the Champions of Europe. We expect a competitive match.”
Of course, what Arteta’s supposed plan is, we have no clue – and looking at his track record as the Gunners’ boss, we’re not sure if he himself is aware of the plan either.
The Blues are set to travel to the Emirates tomorrow for the derby and Tuchel has confirmed that Lukaku should play a part in the game. Let’s hope we get the win!
