Not for sale : Chelsea fans react as Callum Hudson-Odoi set to join Leicester on permanent deal

Leicester ‘make enquiry’ over permanent move for Callum Hudson-Odoi

Leicester have made an enquiry over a permanent deal for Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to football.london.

The 20-year-old suffers from a lack of game time: this season, he only made an appearance in the UEFA Super Cup fixture while he was an unused sub for each of the Premier League matches so far.

It prompted Leicester to field an interest, although it’s understood that Chelsea are extremely reluctant to sell.

Earlier reports stated that Borussia Dortmund were in talks with the Blues over a loan move for Hudson-Odoi, but the sides were ar from reaching an agreement.

As per the new report, Callum’s immediate future at Chelsea might depend on Jules Kounde’s arrival.

The Sevilla player could, in theory, play on the right in the defensive line which would put Hudson-Odoi even further in the pecking order. In that case, a move away becomes a bigger possibility.
