However, according to journalist Graeme Bailey, the midfielder has made it clear that this will be his last season with the Hammers.

The report goes on to state that Rice would like a release clause in his new contract but is unlikely to get one, with his current deal running till 2024.

Chelsea have been named as one of 4 suitors who have already expressed and interest in signing the midfielders.

The Blues will reportedly be competing with both Manchester clubs and Liverpool for Rice’s signature during the next window.

At 22, the Englishman is absolutely one for the future and it would not be surprising at all to see him make his way to Stamford Bridge next season.
