Aston Villa fans deliver Tammy Abraham transfer verdict after update on Chelsea future.
The former Villa loan striker has found game time hard to come by under Thomas Tuchel, prompting speculation that his future may lie away from Stamford Bridge.
Aston Villa fans have given their thoughts on a potential summer transfer for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham with a message to manager Dean Smith.
The forward has found game time hard to come by in recent months at Stamford Bridge under new manager Thomas Tuchel.
That has led to speculation that the former Villa loanee could be open to a move away from the Blues when the summer transfer window opens.
Abraham scored 26 times in 40 appearances in all competitions during a loan spell at Villa Park in the 2018/19 season and was a firm fan favourite in his time at the club.
Adam Newson, Chelsea correspondent for our sister website football.london, said Abraham may be “open to a return if the circumstances are right”, with the Blues looking for a fee of “£40m+”.
Villa strengthened their striking options last summer, bringing Ollie Watkins to the club from Championship side Brentford. The 25-year-old has gone on to score 12 times in the Premier League so far this season as well as earning his first call up to the senior England squad.
