What Chelsea XI could look like in first game after international break: 2 potential line-ups

The international break is almost over and so far, Chelsea players have been lucky to avoid new injuries while involved with their national team.

Moreover, players like Romelu Lukaku and Marcos Alonso used the break to get closer to full fitness, while Christian Pulisic got important minutes under the belt for the United States

Mason Mount might be back after dealing with his dental issues, but Mateo Kovacic is set to be sidelined with a hamstring issue. Timo Werner should be close to recovery but he has not been spotted in training today.

The international games are likely to weigh heavily on Thomas Tuchel’s mind. Thiago Silva is almost certain to miss the Leicester game after returning from Brazil, and we’re not sure if Pulisic will be able to start after crossing back the ocean, either.

Malang Sarr and Saul could come in for Antonio Rudiger and Jorginho so that they’ll be ready for the Juventus game too.

Option 2:

As the European nations only play two games during this break, they might not be as tired as usual, though.
